PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

BONVELL'S WOODWORKS LLC ("BONVELL'S WOODWORKS," "we," "us," or "our") provides the BONVELL'S WOODWORKS Android application as a product-discovery and woodwork project-planning tool.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how information is used, where it is stored, when information may leave your device, and the choices available to you. By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE

The app allows you to voluntarily enter or select information while preparing a custom request or consultation preference. Depending on the feature you use, this may include:

• Product or service selection;
• Preferred wood type and finish;
• Project dimensions and design preferences;
• Budget range and preferred completion date;
• Project notes or consultation brief;
• Name and email address;
• Optional phone number;
• Preferred consultation type, date, and time;
• A device content reference for a selected reference image; and
• Locally generated request or consultation reference numbers.

Providing this information is optional. The app does not require an account, username, password, or social sign-in.

3. LOCAL STORAGE AND USE OF INFORMATION

Custom requests, consultation preferences, generated reference numbers, request status information, and onboarding preference are stored in the app's private SharedPreferences storage on your Android device. This information is used only to provide app features such as:

• Saving and displaying your project requests;
• Preparing a project summary;
• Remembering whether onboarding has been completed;
• Showing locally saved request information; and
• Helping you prepare an email to the workshop when you choose to do so.

BONVELL'S WOODWORKS does not operate an account server or customer database for this app. The app does not automatically upload locally saved custom-request or consultation information to BONVELL'S WOODWORKS.

4. REFERENCE IMAGES

The app may open Android's system file or image picker when you choose to select a reference image. The app stores a local content reference to the selected item so it can record that an image was selected. The app does not automatically upload the image to BONVELL'S WOODWORKS.

If you choose to contact the workshop through an external email app, you must review the email and attach any reference image manually if you want the recipient to receive it. Information and attachments sent through an email provider are handled according to that provider's privacy policy and your settings with that provider.

5. INTERNET ACCESS AND ONLINE IMAGES

The app requests internet access to load product, portfolio, testimonial, onboarding, hero, and wood-background images hosted by Unsplash. When your device requests an online image, Unsplash and its infrastructure may automatically receive routine network and device information, such as your Internet Protocol address, device or operating-system information, request details, and server log information.

BONVELL'S WOODWORKS does not use these image requests to create an in-app user account or advertising profile. Unsplash handles information under its own privacy policy, available at:

Previously loaded images may be cached on your device by the image-loading library to improve performance and reduce repeated downloads. Cached files may be removed by Android or when you clear the app's storage.

6. EXTERNAL EMAIL AND MAP APPLICATIONS

Some app buttons open an external email or map application:

• Email actions create a draft in an email app selected by you. No email is sent until you review and send it yourself.
• The map action opens a general woodworking-related map search in an external map app. The BONVELL'S WOODWORKS app does not request Android location permission or directly read your precise location.

Once you leave the app, information is processed by the external service you selected and is governed by that service's terms and privacy policy. BONVELL'S WOODWORKS is not responsible for the privacy practices of external apps or services.

7. ANDROID BACKUP AND DEVICE TRANSFER

The app permits Android's platform backup functionality. Depending on your Android version, Google account, device manufacturer, backup settings, and device-transfer choices, app data stored in SharedPreferences may be included in an encrypted Android backup or transferred to another device.

These backup and transfer processes are controlled by Android, Google, the device manufacturer, and your device or account settings. BONVELL'S WOODWORKS does not operate, access, or receive the contents of your Android backup. Information handled by Google is subject to Google's privacy policy:

8. INFORMATION WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY COLLECT

The current version of the app does not include:

• User registration or account profiles;
• Advertising SDKs or personalized advertisements;
• Analytics SDKs;
• Behavioral profiling or cross-app tracking;
• Push-notification services;
• In-app payment processing;
• Access to contacts, call logs, SMS, microphone, or camera;
• Direct access to precise or approximate device location; or
• Collection of advertising identifiers for BONVELL'S WOODWORKS.

9. DATA SHARING

BONVELL'S WOODWORKS does not sell or rent information entered into the app. Because the app does not automatically transmit locally saved request or consultation data to a BONVELL'S WOODWORKS server, we do not share that locally stored information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.

Information may leave your device only when necessary for a feature you use or a platform service, including:

• Routine image requests sent to Unsplash;
• Information or attachments you choose to send through an external email app;
• Activity handled by an external map app; and
• Android backup or device-transfer processing controlled by your platform settings.

10. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Locally saved information remains in the app's storage until you clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or the information is otherwise removed by the Android system. You can delete the app's local information through Android Settings by opening the app's storage settings and selecting the option to clear storage or clear data.

Android backups or transferred copies may be retained separately according to your Google account, device, manufacturer, and backup settings. Manage or delete those copies through the relevant account or device controls.

Information you voluntarily send by email is retained by the sender, recipient, and email providers according to their respective policies and legal obligations. You may contact us about information that you have directly sent to BONVELL'S WOODWORKS.

The app does not provide user accounts, so there is no separate in-app account-deletion process.

11. DATA SECURITY

We designed the app so that project-planning information is primarily stored in private app storage instead of a BONVELL'S WOODWORKS server. Access to local information depends on the security of your device, Android operating system, account, and backup settings.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other highly sensitive information into project notes or consultation fields.

12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The app is a general-audience woodwork discovery and planning tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has directly sent personal information to BONVELL'S WOODWORKS, contact us so that the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.

13. INTERNATIONAL USERS

External providers used by your device, including image hosts, email providers, map services, and Android backup services, may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features, data practices, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show an updated effective date. Material changes should also be reflected in the app and in the privacy-policy URL provided through Google Play.
